Buffalo Camping & Canoeing

Located in the quiet country town of Gilbert, AR, our guest houses provide a home away from home feeling.  Mother Moore's House and Caroline's Cottage are perfect for a large family or group that wish to all stay under one roof.  Each house sleeps a maximum of 10 people and is fully furnished.  Each kitchen has a stove, fridge, cooking utensils, kitchen table, and coffee pot.  Both houses have two bathrooms.  In order to keep prices low for our customers, we no longer furnish towels.  Both houses have AC and heat as well as fans.  4 private bedrooms allow for comfortable sleeping arrangements for everyone.
Both houses are within walking distance of the beautiful Gilbert Landing on the Buffalo River.

            

Rates for Mother Moore's House and Caroline's Cottage:
$290 a night flat rate.  During weekends and Holidays we require a two (2) night stay in all of our cabins and guest houses.

Due to the high demand of cabins and guest houses on the Buffalo River, we suggest you make reservations as soon as possible to ensure you are able to stay within walking distance of the river. 
Reservation Policy: FULL Prepayment is expected at the time of reservation with a Visa or MasterCard.  For a refund you must cancel 14 days prior to your reservation by 3:00 PM.  If you cancel within the 14-day period, your reservation will be NONREFUNDABLE.  If you cancel prior to the 14-day period, there is a $20 cancellation fee which applies to all partial or full cancellations.
